Plans and limits
What each plan includes, and what happens at the edges. Cost reporting is included on every plan; what differs is your allowance, how much spend is included, and how far back your data goes. The comparison table on the pricing page is the authority on price; this explains what the numbers mean.
The monthly allowance
Your allowance is how many tokens Lineman will process for you each month: 100M on Basic, 440M on Pro, uncapped on Enterprise. It pools across everyone on the account.
Going past the included spend is billed as usage rather than cutting you off mid-task: $7.50 per extra $250 on Basic, $5.00 on Pro. Moving up a plan lowers that rate.
Tracked spend is not your allowance
Two different numbers, and confusing them is the most common misreading of the plans. The allowance is how much work Lineman does for you. Tracked spend is how much of your own AI bill it will report on: $500 a month included on Basic and $1,000 on Pro, with anything above that billed as usage, and unlimited on Enterprise.
How far back your data goes
Each plan includes a history window: 45 days on Basic, 12 months on Pro, and 6 years on Enterprise. That is what you are entitled to query.
Trials
Basic and Pro both start with a 30-day trial. Enterprise is arranged with us rather than started self-serve. If a plan ends, the account keeps read-only cost reporting rather than going dark.
